Google Business Profile optimisation on the Sunshine Coast.
Help local customers understand your business and contact you.
Your Google listing should show the right services, contact details and next step. I help Sunshine Coast businesses review, optimise and manage their Google Business Profile, with practical priorities and a website that supports the same message.

Make the listing useful to a customer
Can someone confirm the essentials?
Before choosing a local business, a customer may check the service, opening hours, location, photographs, reviews and website. I review those details together, then compare them with what your business actually offers. You get a practical set of corrections and priorities.
Business information
The right name, categories and services.
I check the real-world business name, the main category and the services you want customers to understand. Google's business representation guidelines require accurate information. Extra keywords added to a business name are not a substitute for a relevant service description.
Location and service areas
Explain where and how you serve customers.
I check whether the business is a storefront, service-area business or a combination. If customers are not served at your business address, Google's service-area guidance says to remove that address from the profile. The service areas should reflect actual coverage.
Contact and opening hours
Make the next step clear.
I test the website destination and check the phone number, normal hours and relevant special hours. The website should help someone understand the service and contact you, rather than send them through unrelated pages.
Photos and customer confidence
Show the business people will meet.
I help plan suitable photographs of your team, premises, equipment or completed work, using images you have permission to publish. A visitor should be able to distinguish real business photographs from general illustrative website imagery.
Reviews and responses
Make honest feedback easier to give.
I can help with a review link, a reasonable request process and replies that address the actual feedback. Google's review guidance explains how to share a review link or QR code and prohibits offering incentives in exchange for reviews.
Website alignment
Make the profile and website tell the same story.
I compare the profile with your service pages, contact details and local information. Where the website needs clearer explanations or technical improvements, that work can be included in an agreed scope or handled separately through my Sunshine Coast SEO service.
A realistic view of Google Maps
What can optimisation improve?
Google describes local ranking through relevance, distance and how well known a business is. Complete information helps Google understand the business, but the searcher's location and competing businesses also matter. A profile edit cannot guarantee a position across every Sunshine Coast suburb.

Business type, location information and genuine service coverage.
Customers can check their location before making an enquiry.
Can I trust this business?
Relevant photographs, customer feedback and consistent business information.
People have better evidence to consider alongside the service.

A straightforward path from interest to a useful conversation.
See Google's local ranking guidance for the factors it identifies. Profile updates and posts can communicate useful information; I do not sell a posting schedule as a guaranteed ranking result.
Based in Nambour. I support businesses across the Sunshine Coast, including customers serving Maroochydore, Buderim, Caloundra, Coolum and Noosa. The profile plan follows the places your business serves and the type of work you want to be considered for.
Choose the work you need
A focused setup or ongoing support.
Initial review and optimisation.
A useful starting point for an incomplete profile, inconsistent information or a business that needs a clearer local presence. The work starts with access, the current listing and agreed priorities.
Ongoing profile management.
For businesses needing help with service changes, photographs, useful updates, review responses and reporting. We agree on the tasks and frequency around the business's needs.
You receive a record of the changes, any unresolved access or verification issue, and the next priorities. Work on the website, advertising or wider local SEO is scoped clearly so you understand what is included.
Google Business Profile itself is free. My fee covers the review, implementation and support we agree on. View my service pricing or send your profile link for a quote on the actual work.

Your business, your account
You keep ownership of the profile.
Where access is available, you retain primary ownership and invite me with the role needed for the agreed work. Google supports separate owner and manager access, so there is no need to share your Google password.
If an old provider or staff member controls the profile, we first establish what access exists. Google has an ownership request process; creating another listing without understanding the existing one can make the situation more complicated.
What I need for the first conversation.
Your website address and Google Maps profile link.
The main services and locations you genuinely cover.
The issue you have noticed: incorrect details, access, visibility or unsuitable enquiries.
Whether you currently have owner or manager access.
Before we start
Questions about the service.
Is Google Business Profile the same as Google My Business?
Google Business Profile is the current name of the product formerly called Google My Business. It is the business listing you manage on Google Search and Maps.
Can you guarantee a top-three position on Google Maps?
No. Local results depend on the business, the search and the searcher’s location, as well as competing businesses. I can commit to accurate information, agreed work and clear reporting, but cannot control a ranking.
Can a business run from home have a profile?
Eligibility depends on how the business serves customers. A qualifying service-area business that visits customers can have a profile, with its address hidden when customers are not served there. An online-only business does not qualify simply because its owner works from home.
Should I add every Sunshine Coast suburb as a service area?
Use accurate locations that reflect the places your business serves. Google currently allows up to 20 service areas. The coverage information helps customers understand availability; it is not a promise that the profile will rank in each place.
Will I keep ownership of my Google profile?
Yes. Where you have owner access, you retain primary ownership and invite me with the role needed for the work. Google supports separate owner and manager accounts, so you do not need to share your password.
What if an old agency or employee controls the profile?
First establish the existing listing and access. Google provides a process for requesting ownership of a profile controlled by another party. The right next step depends on your access and business type, so I review the situation before making changes.
Do you offer one-off optimisation and ongoing management?
Yes. The work can be scoped as an initial review and optimisation or ongoing help with agreed profile tasks. Website changes, advertising and wider SEO are identified separately so you can see what the quote covers.
Is Google Business Profile free?
Google provides the Business Profile itself without a listing fee. My fee is for the review, implementation and support we agree on. Paying a provider is separate from paying Google for advertising.
